Trojans get defensive, go to 4-0
"...senior Cooper Rothe did a little bit of everything. By the end of the game, Rothe had intercepted a pass, scored a touchdown, deflected three passes, made five tackles, blocked a point-after attempt and was a perfect 6 for 6 on point-after attempts of his own. "Cooper is the best corner in the state and the best kicker in the state," Trojans head coach Doug Johnson said. "I'm really proud of him. He's a great teammate and a great leader. It's a pleasure to be his coach."

Rothe, Longmont boys stifle Skyline in blowout
Cooper Rothe proved it time and time again during the football season. You just don't go to sleep on him.
That's carried over to the basketball court for the Class 4A No. 1-ranked Longmont boys basketball team. One of the area's premier ball-hawking defensive players on the gridiron, Rothe showed on Saturday night against Skyline that he translates a lot of that quickness to the hardwood. When that's your 6th man, you know you've got something good...
Rothe came off the bench to score seven points in the first half, but more importantly was a spark plug for the Trojans with his passing and defense as Longmont blew the game open very early.
"Cooper, he's got such quickness and lateral movement. It's fun to watch him move his feet, stay in from of his man and defend the way he does." (Longmont Coach Jeff Kloster)
