I have coached Cooper Rothe for 2 years now.  Cooper has a unique ability to balance 3 sports and still be successful in the Kicking game.  Cooper is very accurate on field goals and routinely kicks touchbacks.

I have been coaching kickers and punters for 8 years and have coached 15 + kickers who have gone on to play collegiate football. Having played at the Division 1 and professional level, I know what it takes to make it to the next level.  I only recommend kids that I know for sure have the ability to play Division 1.

Cooper is one of the most talented kids that I have worked with.  He is very coachable, learns very quickly and has great athletic ability. One of the first things that I look for when projecting a kicker's ability at the next level is athleticism...

Cooper is the most athletic kid I have worked with and combining his work ethic I see him with Division 1 potential.  Not only is he a good athlete but he excels in the classroom.  I would recommend Cooper to any coach looking for a kicker.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Cooper Rothe. He is a great football player, an outstanding student, and a no-risk addition to any team that he joins.

Cooper Rothe is the best cornerback I have ever coached and an excellent kicker. I say this because Cooper can play run or pass equally well, because he is a leader, and because he has a unique ability to find the ball in the passing game. Cooper played man coverage for us with little help for almost an entire season. He is an outstanding corner. To add to this Cooper is an excellent field goal kicker and can put kickoffs into the end zone with great consistency.

Cooper is an outstanding student. This is easily assessed. His GPA is above a 4.0 and this has always been the case. He will be taking the ACT soon.

Cooper is a no-risk addition to any team he joins. I say this to let coaches know: He will be at meetings, at workouts, in study sessions, and at practice ON TIME. He will give GREAT effort and he will BE COACHABLE.

I recommend Cooper Rothe without reservation.

Cooper Rothe has been one of the most reliable players I have coached in my 15 years of high school and professional indoor football coaching career.

He has a natural ability to make plays within a given scheme with ease.  His overall intelligence and understanding of the entire scheme allows him to excel on the field.

Off the field Cooper is a reliable student and character leader.  He has never shown anything other than respect to his family, teachers, coaches and teammates.  He has worked himself into a definite DII football player.  His ability has rivaled several players who I have sent to division two and both became all – Americans for their respective teams at that level.  I do believe however that If Cooper reaches his full potential he could be a smaller D1 kid.  I base this on the pro athletes that I have worked with in the indoor game who have come from big school such as Kansas State, Ole Miss, Auburn and many others.

He has natural feet, good hips, and is very fluid in his motion in both his man to man cover and zone drops.  One of his biggest attributes is his leadership.  He is not going to be a rah-rah guy, instead he is a leader by example and action.  That being said his weakness might be that he is at times too quiet.  I have seen times where his teammates look to him to rally the troops and his shy personality takes over.  If Cooper can break through in that area, which is minor, he will be the ultimate athlete in my opinion.

With Cooper you are going to get a hard-working, no nonsense, lead by example, amazing character and most importantly student athlete.
